About Mrs. Blankenship
I am a 5th grade reading and social studies teacher at Radney Elementary. I am also the ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher at our school. I provide direct instruction to students in the ESL program who need assistance in becoming fluent in English while monitoring their success in the classroom. This is currently my 6th year teaching at Radney.
I graduated in May 2009 from Auburn University with a BS in Elementary Education. I am married to Adam Blankenship from Alexander City. We have a very sweet goldendoodle dog named Harper. In my free time I enjoy antique shopping, painting, exercising, and most of all spending time with my wonderful family and friends.
I love to teach and I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with the students that I have been blessed with this year. I hope to inspire and encourage my students just as they continue to inspire and encourage me each day.
